Nisekoi - Chapter 7: Handmade

Though last chapter was a little off, I have to admit that this time, it's pretty interesting and funny. Every page was funny and I was seriously imagining it as an anime because Raku's reactions were really epic.

Bakuman – Chapter 161: Breather and Party

Ahhh… So we're back to the battle between Reversi and ZombieGun. There's nothing really wrong with it but somehow it is exciting yet a little tiring already. The short arc about Hiramaru and Aoki seemed interesting and was relaxing which was probably the reason why it was brought up, to relax the reader from the intense battle between Ashirogi and Niizuma.

Kimi to Boku. (series review)

For starters, I was never of huge fan of slice of life anime but I do watch them. And when I saw Kimi to Boku. on the list of Fall 2011 anime, it was no doubt that I'll watch it but I was surprised on myself for looking forward to it every week.

Ben-To (series review)

I have to admit that Ben-To was not really on my list to begin with since I find fighting over half-priced bento kind of ridiculous but after reading a review of the first episode from a blog, I decided to add it to my list and I have to say that I was not entirely disappointed.

Nisekoi – Chapter 6: Similar

Nisekoi never fails to make me look forward to the next chapter because of its epic cliffhangers. Well, this chapter certainly didn’t open up that well but as the story goes, it gradually becomes interesting and at the end…

Bakuman – Chapter 160: Doing Your Best and Nine Hundred Thousand

I really enjoyed this chapter most especially Hiramaru’s proposal to Aoki-san :D

Nisekoi – Chapter 4 & Chapter 5

It seems that it took me forever to post something about Nisekoi and I feel that it’s been forever since I last read these chapter ‘cause of being heck busy.

This chapter really went on what I was expecting. The school knows it. And there’s no denying this anymore. The more reason for this relationship to turn into reality, yes?

Bakuman will go on a third season!

As a huge fan of the manga itself, I sure can’t contain myself when I read the news from ANN that Bakuman will be having a third season next fall.

Bakuman – Chapter 159: Tempo and Ferris Wheel

After the short two chapter-arc about Reversi’s weakness, I was sudden because of its early end but this chapter has certainly made up for it because this chapter main centers around one of my favorite mangaka in Bakuman and his oh-so scary editor.

Bakuman – Chapter 158: Drawn Out and In One Go

I’d say that after last chapter’s sudden problem, things instantly worked out just like that. And I seriously thought that Reversi’s weakness was going to be a big arc. Well, that sucks.

Kimi to Boku. – Episode 8 & Episode 9

Okay, so I have to admit that these two episodes weren’t as great as the previous ones and character developments have somehow lost in here. But then, I’d like to just enjoy the comedy it gives and practically look forward for better episodes next time :D

Bakuman 2 – Episode 8 & Episode 9

AND so, without even reaching the second half of the series, TRAP ends. With that said, I’m thinking that the second half will begin with their new series. Ohh, I can already see the ending :D

Nisekoi – Chapter 3: First

So Raku and Chitoge’s date is ON! It was interesting and funny. And definitely a date like no other. Plus, I just noticed that Claude is the most doubtful and sharp person in this manga yet. LOL.

Bakuman: Chapter 157: Antagonists and Switching

And I seriously thought that things will start getting boring but I was stand corrected. Sure it started with where things were left off last chapter but this chapter just brought in a new and interesting problem for Ashirogi’s new series, Reversi.

Bakuman – Chapter 155 & Chapter 156

One arc ended with Ashirogi’s and Niizuma’s new manga and more struggles for Ashirogi are coming upahead.

Rie fu – New Album: I Can Do Better

After I heard Rie fu on Hourou Musuko’s ending theme, I got interested in her voice and her bilingual songs.

Kimi to Boku. – Episode 7: Next to an Apple

Finally my wish came true, an episode mainly about Yuta.

Kimi to Boku. – Episode 6: Glasses and Et Cetera

There’s only one thing I have to say in this episode, I am so glad that Shun-chan finally had his hair cut!! XD

Bakuman 2 – Episode 7: Life-and-Death and Standstill

The editor-in-chief has finally made up his mind regarding on what to do about TRAP’s serialization and it on the looks of things, it’s not going to be good.

Random Drawing - Tachibana, Kanade

this is something i drew about a year ago when i wasn't so busy(:

Bakuman 2 – Episode 6: Sickness and Determination

As expected from what happened last episode, Mashiro-kun was brought to the hospital. With that, what’s going to happen to Trap’s serialization?

Nisekoi – Chapter 2: Question

Honestly speaking, this is an interesting manga but this chapter isn’t really as good as the first one. I guess second chapters really aren’t that good. But still, this chapter is filled with good comedy about Chitoge and Raku’s fake relationship.

Bakuman – Chapter 154: Weekly and Monthly

And we all thought that the issue about Reversi’s serialization has ended. Well, for sure this is the conclusion about Reversi’s serialization. What I would like to see now is the battle between ZombieGun and Reversi.

Nisekoi – Chapter 1: Promise

Ahhh… so the interesting mystery that is Enigma has been replaced by some action-comedy-romance manga called Nisekoi…

Anyway, Weekly Shounen Jump is famous for releasing over the-top action-battle manga with really outstanding art. I’ve only read a couple of manga from WSJ but I’d say that I didn’t really expect to see some seemingly big romance in here that this manga could probably offer.

Kimi to Boku. – Episode 5: One Summer

I guess a slice of life anime can’t be complete without a summer episode. With that Kimi to Boku’s 5th episode covered the first day of summer for this group of friends. Now, I seriously smell romance in here.

Bakuman 2 – Episode 5: Comedy and News

Seems to me that Mashiro and Takagi’s decision of keeping Trap the way it is worked out really well. But then, with five episodes, who said it’s already going to be a happy ending. By the end of the episode, another problem rise.

Life is Money – Chapter 3: Murderous Frustration

As a fan of psychological battles, one of the best settings for an interesting psychological manga is an exclusive room with all the participants slowly knowing each other’s true colors. Include a little violence, intelligence and interesting characters equals a pretty good psychological manga.

Bakuman – Chapter 153: The World and His Opponent

The results for Reversi are in and not even Ashirogi-sensei expected it. Will Reversi be serialized together with ZombieGun in Weekly Shounen Jump? This chapter just tells it all.

Most Popular Fall Anime

Fall 2011 anime offered a lot of interesting new series and sequels. A number of people are going over Chihayafuru, Fate/Zero and Mirai Nikki as the top anime for this season. Personally, I can't completely disagree since I love both Chihayafuru and Mirai Nikki and as for Fate/Zero, I haven't watch it.

Bakuman 2 – Episode 4: Support and Patience

So who’s guessing how long Trap will last under Miura’s hands? For the record, the more episodes I see, the more I get pissed off with Miura. Who knows, he might say next, “Trap is in 17, don’t’ worry it won’t get cancelled.”

Bakuman – Chapter 152: Synergy Effect and a New Record

This chapter went on like in a breeze. First thing I know Ashirogi-sensei’s and Niizuma-sensei’s names were submitted, the next thing is Niizuma-sensei’s results have reached an overwhelming record not even Ashirogi-sensei is confident in over taking.

Kimi to Boku. – Episode 4: Noisy Medicine

I hate to say this but this episode turned out a little boring for me. There wasn’t anything catchy in this episode though a little development on Kaname’s character was actually made. Well, on the side note, does anyone really care about Kaname’s character?

SKET Dance – Episode 29: The Second Coming of the Mistaken Angel

After the petty disappointment I got from last episode’s SKET Dance, I’m actually glad that despite being a two-story episode, this one went pretty well.

SKET Dance – Episode 28: Shinba Michiru’s Elegant Cooking

Who knew that a cooking show could be this funny?

Bakuman 2 – Episode 3: Window and Snow

I was never a fan of Nakaii-san but when this episode is presented in a way you’ll seriously feel what’s happening, I can’t help myself but feel a little sorry for Nakaii-san when he found out that Aoki will be working with Koogy to write another manga.

Bakuman – Chapter 151: Zombies and Demons

It looks like Ashirogi Mutou has leveled up after all these years of writing manga. Who would have thought that they will have a mainstream manga by this time? Actually, I never thought that it’ll be this soon.

Kimi to Boku. – Episode 3: The Straw-Colored Boy

With the 3rd episode still having the same feeling as the first two, I’m glad that I’m still not tired of it. More importantly, I didn’t expect that I’ll like Chizuru Tachibana (Irino, Miyu) since I’m not really a fan of the overly jolly people.

Bakuman 2 – Episode 2: Anthologies and Photo Books

I couldn’t say that I dislike this episode but I just have to admit that I was never a fan of the female characters Ohba-sensei writes. For some reasons, I just don’t find them anything interesting or worth sympathizing for. Now forgetting that, I just have to say that this chapter went smoothly and probably (if I can recall correctly) went faithfully with the manga.

ENIGMA – Chapter 51: Cannibal & Chapter 52: Coffin

I can’t stop myself from saying: I knew it! while reading these two chapters. The entire arc about Sumio’s wish has been on a rollercoaster ride and I have to say that these chapters are on the top of the tracks.

Kimi to Boku. – Episode 2: The Day the Tulips Bloomed

I’ve read a number of comments that Kimi to Boku is boring and is going completely nowhere. Well I say I’m definitely sticking to this show because this is one of the shows that I really enjoy this season.

Bakuman – Chapter 150: Selfishness and Favored

I’d say that this chapter turned out better than I expected.

ENIGMA – Chapter 50: Key

Now that Sumio finally found chief jailer Kuroiwa, how is he going to retrieve the ticket?

SKET Dance – Episode 27: With Onee-san and Bad Scientist

This episode went on better than I thought. SKET Dance introduced a new character, Remi “onee-san” Misora who seems to have more energy than anyone else in the show.

Kimi to Boku. – Episode 1: Our 17th Spring

After a year of having knowledge of the seasonal anime, this is the first time I saw and watched a slice of life centered anime with pure guys as main characters. Compared to other slice of life anime which are presented with girls, I certainly enjoyed Kimi to Boku more.

Bakuman – Chapter 149: Unique Flavor and Theme

After Mashiro and Takagi decided on their strategy in defeating Nanamine-kun’s one-shot, the two of them were all fired up in finishing one chapter after another to make their “stand-alone that isn’t a stand-alone” chapter great. The conclusion to Nanamine-kun's desperate plan for revenge is finally revealed!

ENIGMA – Chapter 49: Prison

After the shocking revelation last chapter, I haven’t really settled myself in believing that Akame Tsutomu is the cannibal. But after this chapter, I guess I have no choice but to accept it and see what happens next.
