It's been months since the ghost of Anna Korlov opened a door to Hell in her basement and disappeared into it, but ghost hunter Cas Lowood can't move on.
His friends remind him that Anna sacrificed herself so that Cas could live - not walk around half dead, pining for her. He knows they're right, but in Cas's eyes, no living girl he meets can compare to the dead girl he fell in love with.
Now he's seeing Anna everywhere: sometimes when he's asleep, and sometimes in waking nightmares. But something is very wrong... Therese aren't just daydreams. Anna seems tortured, torn apart in new and ever more gruesome ways every time she appears.
Cas doesn't know what happened to Anna when she disappeared into Hell, but he knows she doesn't deserve whatever is happening to her now. Anna saved Cas more than once, and it's time for him to return the favor.

MARCH BOOK HAUL (aka the-last-month-of-school haul)

ignore the bloodydamn rubik's cube.. I was preventing Cruel Crown's cover from flipping up :P
Cruel Crown by Victoria Aveyard | Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys | Morning Star by Pierce Brown

Hello,
I'm a couple of weeks away from my summer vacation. I really can't wait for it!! It means more time for myself, for skills improvements, and for reading! I dropped by Amazon Kindle eBooks a few times this past month and came out with several new reads. And they were all FREE! I also got School of Deaths from a giveaway by Haraiah @ Random Things in MotionEarthbound and After the Winter by Mark R. Healy by simply joining his mailing list, Better Off by Yesenia Vargas by joining her mailing list, and Transcend Saga Box Set by Michelle Madow through the same way.

The list of my new ebook reads is really, really lengthy. I kind of ended up with a combination of different YA genres and adult mystery thriller (it's still mostly YA though). I also downloaded a couple of review copies that interests me but are somehow off my comfort zone. I'm sure I'll never finish all of these during my vacation. But crossing my fingers that I'll be able to read a good amount of them :)

[REVIEW] UnDivided

Series: Unwind #4
Author:
 Neal Shusterman
Genre:
young adult, science fiction, dystopia, fantasy, romance, thriller, horror, adventure
Published:
 October 14, 2014
Publisher: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers

Proactive Citizenry, the company that created Cam from the parts of unwound teens, has a dark military plan for him. But below the surface of that horror lies another shocking level of intrigue: Proactive Citizenry has been suppressing technology that could make unwinding completely unnecessary. As Connor, Risa, and Lev uncover these shocking secrets, enraged teens begin to rise up, demanding justice and a better future.
But more trouble is brewing. Starkey's group of stroked kids are growing more powerful and militant with each new recruit. If they have their way, they'll burn the harvest camps to the ground and put every adult in them before a firing squad - which could destroy any chance America has for a peaceful future.
The finale to the New York Times bestselling futuristic thriller dystology that Booklist called, "Perfectly poised to catch the Hunger Games wave, and based on an even more plausible dystopian scenario," is unexpected, unsettling, and startlingly unconventional.

Under the cold gaze of the blood moon she is someone else entirely, but when dawn breaks her memories vanish and she is left with only an icy horror, a burning fury. Amid a sea of 'drones', she alone hasn’t been cured.
Then she meets Luke. He isn’t like the other drones. With secrets behind his eyes, he is the only one determined to help Josephine discover the truth before the next blood moon rises.
But time is running out. Is Luke willing to risk his life to be near her? Does he truly understand what violence she is capable of?

Ruta Sepetys!!
Hello,

With finals && thesis around the corner, I've become busier than before. At the same time, I continue to read on my spare time hence my lack of activity. I've finished a few books since I posted my last weekend reads post (which was a month ago).

Anyway, I'll continue to be busy in the next couple of weeks (yes, including the upcoming Holy Week - for Catholics - since I have plans to do by then) but I'll continue to read and I'll be posting my personal book challenge update soon! So excited for vacation (2nd week of April!!).
